Buyer guide
A complete golf simulator setup under $1,000
A launch monitor alone is not a simulator. This page prices the whole minimum bay, monitor, net and mat, from live listings, and says plainly what $1,000 leaves out.
All buyer guidesA working practice bay costs $332.86 today at Amazon's cheapest in-stock prices: monitor, net and mat, summed live.
Both totals, the method, and what the budget leaves outThe full arithmetic, dated, in one paragraph
Golf Sim Oracle prices a working golf practice bay from live Amazon listings, refreshed twice a day. A bay needs three purchases: a launch monitor, a net to stop the ball, and a mat to hit from. Summing the cheapest in-stock listing in each category, the entry price today is $332.86. Taking instead the listing Amazon's own category placement ranks highest in each category, the total is $345.96. Both sums are our arithmetic on Amazon's prices, and each line below links to the listing behind it. What a $1,000 budget does not buy is the picture: the cheapest in-stock impact screen and projector pair adds $305.97 on its own, and course-play software is a further subscription on most monitors. Golf Sim Oracle does not test equipment; every figure here is a live listing value, dated when it was read.

What this budget does not buy
The picture. Replacing the net with an impact screen and a projector adds $305.97 at today's cheapest in-stock pair, before mounting hardware. And course play is a subscription on most monitors: the five-year cost table carries those figures, sourced and dated.
How these builds were pricedThe screen, the arithmetic, and what we do not do
Each line is a live Amazon listing: published, in stock, photographed, priced by the Product Advertising API within the last 24 hours. The floor takes the cheapest such listing per category; the better-placed build takes the one Amazon’s own category placement ranks highest within the budget. The totals are our addition and are labelled as ours. Golf Sim Oracle does not test equipment and no brand pays for placement. Guide copy last reviewed 2026-08-11.
